Overview

Technical whitepapers are the lifeblood of our community; they turn real-world engineering work into clear, repeatable practice. In cybersecurity, they accelerate the adoption of defensible designs, preserve lessons learned, and raise the craft through clear reasoning, evidence, and measurable outcomes.

The ISAUnited Technical Research Center (TRC) helps cybersecurity practitioners plan, write, and submit technical whitepapers that advance defensible architecture and engineering. We provide author guidance, templates, and expert coaching so real engineering work becomes practical, reusable knowledge.

Whitepapers are authored by practitioners, reviewed by the Technical Fellow Society, and selected for clarity, engineering merit, and implementation value aligned to ISAUnited’s standards and philosophy.

Who Can Participate

-
ISAUnited Members: Full access to author resources, mentoring, submission tracks, and publication.
-
Non-Members: Limited access to public resources and publishing options, plus clear paths to join and submit.

How It Works

-
Plan & Draft: Select a format (Technical, Problem–Solution, Framework/Methodology, or Case Study) and outline your story.
-
Review & Strengthen: Use TRC templates and evidence guidance; submit for peer review and revise.
-
Publish & Reuse: Finalize, publish under TRC, and cite in projects, training, and research deliverables.
